My lovely Italian salad

I put together a delicious salad with a strong Gorgonzola cheese (Gorgonzola piccante) that I bought in Cannobio. The texture is more like a roquefort cheese then a normal creamy gorgonzola, which is great for salads. It also has a very distinguished flavour which I just love.

I served it with crispy rocket lettuce, toasted parma ham, avocado, toasted pine nuts, some red onions and an aged balsamic vinegar. A great sunday dinner along with a nice bottle of red!
