Fleurs de Courgettes

For yesterday evenings Apéritif I made some fried courgette flowers which is a delicacy here! It’s actually the yellow/orange flower that you find on the top of the courgette. It is the perfect mediterranean appetizer and so simple to make ;

For the batter: just add some tempura flour and sparkling water in a bowl and stir. It should be light and crispy, so don’t make it to thick. Dip the flower in the batter and fry it in olive oil. Serve it with some freshly squeezed lemon! Bon Appétit!
