Soirée de Gala – Les semaines de la Gastronomie Russe at the Grand Hotel, Cannes

Monday night I was invited at the Grand Hotel in Cannes for the “Les Semaines de la gastronomie Russe”. It was an amazing night filled with loads of Champagne from Louis Roederer, Russian vodka from Kauffman, Cognac from Hennesy and plenty of live cooking food stations with French and Russian dishes like seared foie gras with fresh fig (my favourite of the evening), risotto with chanterelles and truffle pearls (which was to die for!!) oyster with its terrine, Gambas with Gazpacho sorbet etc. All this, prepared by the chef of The Grand Hotel – Sebastian Broda and Russian chef Dmitry Shurshakov.
