Miel à la truffe

Truffle scented honey is the ultimate accompaniment to have with cheese, especially strong ones. This particular truffle honey I bought in Portofino, but you can find it in every good quality italian épicerie.

It is to die for with a piece of mature gorgonzola, or as on the photo, with a piece of St Félicien that I got at the fromagerie in Antibes today. The cheese was so mature that I had to keep it in its paper to prevent it from simply just drizzle off the cheese board. -Just the way I like it! With a nice bottle of Bandol Rouge, it’s the perfect way to start the weekend!
