We just finished our last event out of 5, that we organized for two Swedish clients for MIPCOM which is “The world’s entertainment content market” held in Cannes each year.

It started off with a cocktail party for more then 200 guests with an Italian theme. There were italian canapés such as: pear and gorgonzola mini skewer with truffle balsamico, Arancini’s with green asparagus, italian cold cuts with grissini’s, mini tiramisu, spoons with panna cotta and caramel crunch and coffee cream filled mini cannoli’s. As it was an evening event with a lot of coloured lights you can barely see them on the buffet table on the photos below, but I managed to at least get a snapshot on the pear and gorgonzola mini skewer with truffle balsamico when we prepped them:

Monday evening we had two events where one dinner was for one of the biggest Swedish tv-channels, where they enjoyed: mixed grilled seafood platter à la plancha, linguini with creamy lemon sauce and crispy rocket, artichoke carpaccio, mesclun salad with grilled peach, feta cheese and tomato and chili chutney, and my personal favourite: mini steak tartare with french fries that I served in french newspaper cones in small shot glasses. They were a success!

The other event we had that same evening was for a Swedish production company where they wanted a typical Swedish “Smörgåsbord” for their international guests. We made “Gravlax” with its “Hovmästarsås”, Swedish meatballs with beetroot salad, stuffed eggs topped with bleakroe, pickled herring, mini steamed potatoes in fresh dill and mini “Smörgåstårta” where I rolled the edges in dill and decorated with some eatable flowers on the top. They looked so cute!
