40th Birthday Dinner, Cannes

A little while ago we did a 40th birthday dinner for some Danish clients in Cannes in the most spectacular Provençal stone villa.
They enjoyed canapés by the pool such as; spoon with truffle foam on peperoncini crostinis with slow roasted mini tomatoes and truffle pearls, mini tarte Pissaladière, foie gras with apple and chili chutney and Scandinavian seafood salad on mini rye nachos. All this with some Champagne sabling by the host.
For dinner, they started with burrata with slow roasted cherry tomatoes and basil oil. I love decorating with golden leafs at the moment, so I put some on the basil, which made it look very glamorous!
They then continued with baby lambracks with potato paté, seared Provençal vegetables and chèvre cream. Some cheese after that, and then lemon meringue tarte with fresh raspberry coulis.
